Jun 2019 | The Idea of AR in Saree

During the Directors’ meet whilst discussing Augment Reality (AR) solutions for various sectors, the idea of AR for Saree segment was  deliberated.  Conscious of Virtual Mirror concept well established by now, we evaluated existing solutions in the world.  Most of them addressed Western Wear and Saree segment was rare.  Some available in the Saree segment addressed the Online space. 

The demand for an AR solution was established, addressing the Saree segment that will transform the In-Store shopping experience of customers.  Also, it will be a first of its kind immersive 3D experience. The platform was also to address the Fabric to Fashion segments as product road map for Sherwani, Shirts & Trousers, Hijabs, Malaysian / Indonesian ethnic wear and more.  Some drawing-board ideas shown here for reference.

Further, we evaluated and identified the available Technologies that can be leveraged and the required skill set for the same.  Hiring commenced..
